I feel that we were really able to capture the way that Cocoa-sensei would weave both the silly moments as well as moments that would grab your heart throughout the story in a visual form. We’ve taken careful measures to bring you a project with a promising studio, a wonderful staff, and dedicated cast members. I’d love for you to take a look at Cocoa-sensei’s original manga until the day we are able to bring the joyful days and loveable characters of MahoAku to you.

Technically, they’re supposed to be enemies, but in Byakuya and Mira’s case…?
I spend my days fidgeting with their relationship and swooning over the wonderful work of director Akiyo Ohashi.
I hope that fans of MahoAku, Cocoa Fujiwara-sensei and everyone that I’ve met all have a wonderful time with this series.

It’s been about 10 years since Inu X Boku and I didn’t think I’d ever find myself working on another one of Cocoa Fujiwara-sensei’s works. I’m getting to work on Fujiwara’s colorful world with Ms. Ohashi, Ms. Ayana and everyone at BONES. That’s quite a lineup! That alone would make you excited, wouldn’t it? I hope you’re looking forward to it!

After reading the original comic, I thought, “Wow...just how cute can they be!“ and felt as if my eyes had been opened to something totally new.
When creating the music for the anime, the name of the evil lieutenant, “Mira,” became a very important element.
I hope you can feel how much fun I had making the music.
I hope you will enjoy the world of MahoAku with its sweet music.
